The Yoga Alliance accredited teacher training course offers participants an introduction to Yin Yoga, Meditation & Upper Limb Anatomy.
The 40-hour course will include elements of both theory and practice.
Yin & Meditation combined together is a practice that has a modern approach combining two ancient arts: yoga and meditation. This training is designed to deepen your understanding of Yin Yoga, meditation techniques and their application. Whether you are a yoga teacher looking to expand your skill set or a practitioner seeking a profound personal journey, this course offers a transformative experience.
Discover how stretching, meditation and mindfulness impact physiology and psychology, and discover therapeutic effects that support well-being and mental balance.
Upon completion of this training, you will have the knowledge necessary to seamlessly combine Yin, meditation, and mindfulness to create transformative practice.
(The course follows the meditation teaching methodology described in the early texts of Patanjali's Yoga Sutra)
Meditation - Patanjali method
Meditation as a practice has gained much popularity due to its numerous benefits. Scientific research has shown, among other things, that consistent meditation practice improves relaxation, helps with depression, reduces autoimmune reactions, and counteracts the adverse effects of stress and anxiety. It sounds like a perfect antidote to the modern lifestyle, and yet it remains a practice that is generally misunderstood and therefore inaccessible. Many mindfulness techniques and exercises are often incorrectly called meditation, which gives the term multiple meanings. After completing the course, you will understand how to introduce and guide your meditation practice, as well as eliminate common mistakes and beliefs, to strengthen your students' experience.
During the course, we will present the perspective offered by one of the yogic texts: the Patanjali Sutras. The Yoga Sutras are an ancient yogic text containing very detailed information about yogic practices. I will share with you the most important information in a simplified way to provide a definition of the meditations described in the Sutras.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga uses static postures to relieve tension, increase breath awareness and develop mindfulness.
This is a slow practice, so most sessions only include a few poses. The combination of Yin Yoga practices and mindfulness meditation creates powerful possibilities for transformation and holistic healing on all layers of the being - body, mind and heart.
Anatomy of the Upper Limb
The Yin & Meditation course will familiarize participants with the anatomy of the upper limb. We will read not only the anatomical descriptions, but above all we will focus on the functional use of this area in the practice of Yin yoga.
After completing the entire course, participants will receive a YA certificate and a ready-made script for practice.
